For those with an academic turn of mind and a keen interest in current events, there is good reason to return to AOL.com . Since being acquired by the Huffington Post, its news coverage has become highly relevant, informative and earlier than other sources we have encountered.
Of course there is a lot of People Magazine type features, but they are largely separated and can be readily bypassed.
It embarrasses us to post so often from HUFFPOST. It isn’t for lack of scanning a dozen other sites, including the Daily Beast which identifies and links to newsworthy articles from throughout the country. They simply are that good!
