Today in Congress was the first of five hearings in the next ten days for the Chairman of the FCC. One amusing highlight (for us) today was Congress accusing us of being involved in a conspiracy with the White House to protect the future of the Internet.
It is so rare for federal agencies to actually work in the public interest and listen to what people want that these corporate-funded congress members could not believe it was based on the FCC actually listening to people (there were nearly 4 million comments) and coming to a conclusion consistent with what the people wanted and not a handful of corporations.
They have to imagine a conspiracy in order to explain this unusual phenomena.
