Theft by city government

I am aghast to read this article which confirms my VERY first thought when reading the initial New Era story of the Brunswick closing.

This is cruel and unusual punishment indeed and Lancastrians should be ashamed of our city government’s actions. The Brunswick should have been given a warning first when the alarm didn’t meet code–and the immediate response by Yarnell should DEFINATELY have been sufficient to avoid the closing.

This is theft by government– theft of income–theft of prestige– theft of reputation– theft of “peace of mind” and income for the small business owners in the Brunswick complex.

In these difficult economic times the businesses may never recover from this bashing and word of mouth spreading of “the Brunswick is not safe anymore” that will spread like wildfire to people who will never get the “rest of the story”.

I hope we discover the rat in the mix and expose the bum for his shamefully cruel, self serving (I’m sure) actions.
