The day after enduring a bruising session of questions and accusations on Capitol Hill, BP’s gaffe-prone CEO, Tony Hayward, is taking a backseat in the oil giant’s attempts to fix the gulf oil spill and its own tattered reputation.
In an interview today with Sky News, BP Chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg said Hayward will be handing over control of day-to-day operations in the gulf spill to BP Managing Director Robert Dudley. ..
