SUNDAY NEWS

The editorial sub-titled  “Tea Party? Occupy Wall Street? Let’s just stop, look and then listen to each other.” states:

“Critics say the Occupy Wall Street movement, beyond its anger over the disparity of wealth between Wall Street and Main Street, is leaderless and scattershot in its message. Some see the protesters as young people guided only by their sense of entitlement, although last Saturday’s protest here brought out a lot of older people who probably aren’t still paying off college loans…

“We support and encourage those — from all parts of the political spectrum — who come out to show their feelings about their country and its future. It beats having an electorate of sheep…

“It is with sadness that we witness a widening political gulf between Americans, who, whether on city streets or in Congress, are unable to talk things out and seek common ground in order to move the country ahead.”

WATCHDOG: Another  wag of the tail.   When will the Tea  Party members of the “99%” recognize they have many common concerns with the Occupy movement?  Someone of prestiege, perhaps the New York Times, should invite members of both to a conference.
