In his column entitled  “Knowing left from the right”, Editor Marv Adams responds to a criticism:

CONTRIBUTOR: “’My letter to the editor did not run. I think I’m being censored.’ADAMS: ‘Not every letter to the editor runs — some because they repeat what other letters have said and others because they contain many inaccuracies. No thanks to the Internet, there’s a lot of bad information floating around.’”

WATCHDOG: We were heartened by Adam’s view on this matter.  We too dislike having to censor entire communications or parts thereof, but we are hesitant to repeat patently erroneous information.    Of course “erroneous” opinions are fair play and, at most, elicit an Editor’s Note.
