Schools have wrong spending priorities

The focus over the years has shifted from education to athletic scholarships, elaborate concert type auditoriums, and many other pricey and unnecessary frills never known to a student in years past.

The drop out rate is astounding and many students are not being taught reading and writing skills, grammer, etiquette and the other basics. These basics will never change…..though the world will, those students who were taught correct grammer, mathematical skills, and how to write properly, will have confidence and be prepared to do the type of work they have chosen.

The same student will open all doors with proper etiquette….thank you notes, proper introductions, and so on. The cost is not in the education of the student but in the entertainment of the student.

Put the money where it belongs….in education.
