Scarborough: Romney Was ‘Ideologically Unfit’ Candidate

NEWSMAX:   Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” has nothing but disdain for Mitt Romney’s comments Wednesday that President Barack Obama’s election victory was a result of “gifts” he showered on minorities and young voters.

“Mitt Romney proved again that in Washington, a gaffe is when you accidentally say something that you mean,” the former Florida GOP congressman wrote on Politico. “He also showed why he was ideologically unfit to be the Republican nominee for president.” ..

The upshot of the comments is that Romney “has no idea what conservatism offers 100 percent of Americans who believe that freedom leads to prosperity and centralized planning is a road to serfdom,” Scarborough says…  (more) 

EDITOR:  Romney is a tragic, Faustian figure, the product of trying to appease the right wing of the Republican Party and still be elected  President.  Does he really know what he believes?  After four ‘flip flopping’  campaigns in five years and repudiating the best and historic works of his career, does he believe in anything?
