We are all here supporting marijuana for medical use. One of the biggest complaints is that it’s the gateway drug to the harder stuff and how do we stop the people who are prescribed from supplying it to a non-prescribed individual? I’m a disabled individual who was run over by a car while a woman was text messaging. I don’t blame the cell phone. My point is it seems to be ok for me to be prescribed oxycotin, skelaxin, opanas, and vicodin. I’m allowed to have pills that can physcially addict my body, but I can’t smoke some marijuana.
Now who is stopping those kind of pills from reaching the streets and our kids. I would rather catch my kids with some grass, rather that catch them with pills that can kill, addict, and gateway them to a needle. I feel if we get marijuana for medical use. A lot of people might leave the hardcore pills alone which could reduce the chances of them hitting the streets.
I was robbed once. My guns were in a safe that cannot be moved without some serious equipment. My kids PS2 was stolen, games, dvds, jewlery, and would you believe my pills 20 plus oxycotin 80s, some ultram E.R.s and some flexoral? Now against my will my pills hit the streets.
I don’t know what happened next and I dont want to. I do know if I had medical marijuana and that hit the streets under the same circumstances, I don’t have to worry about someone overdosing and dying by the same pills that’s supposedly help me.
I don’t take those pills anymore. I do smoke pot for my pain and I do therapy. The pills might help you one way but they brought me down another; sick to the stomach, lashing out at the kids, [and] depression.
CMON people we need to get this passed and abolish these pills!
