Well, well, it sounds like we have an older and wiser Terry Kauffman. Remember, Kauffman voted to go ahead with the largest youth detention facility with no idea of how much it would cost to run (it was mostly empty but increasing the number of county employees has filled the empty wings). Kauffman also voted to create the Convention Center Authority so his legacy of financial burdens on Lancaster County will be felt for decades.
I am very concerned about Ms. Hauer being in charge of this ‘new and improved’ system whereby they report to her. She has shown herself to be very liberal in financial policies and I can’t see that changing.
