Join facility owners, facility managers and contractors for a comprehensive energy assessment open house.
Review energy efficient upgrades and examples of lighting retrofits, HVAC upgrades and solar thermal (hot water) installations.
As part of the workshop you will get to learn about recently completed energy assessment and facility upgrade reports at the YWCA and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology–Mellor Building (TSCT). We’ll review:
• Original assumptions as part of the grant process
• Energy saving priorities
• Costs and estimated dollar savings involved
• Incentives and grants in the market place (PPL)
Take this opportunity to ask questions and learn from Marcus B. Sheffer, an energy assessment expert with over 25 years of experience in energy saving strategies for building retrofits that includes building controls, lighting retrofits and system replacements.
Invited guests include a business specialist with PPL that will share information about incentives for commercial facilities available from PPL to support energy assessment upgrades, and Mike Newman from Worley Obetz to talk about Solar Thermal (hot water) installations.
