After paying a friend to reinstate him through computer, erasing his record etc, he continued using and used up all his retirement, lost his wife and daughter as well as his job again.  His father passed on knowing his son was homeless in NYC but had to say NO to coming here.

A beautiful, handsome man that continued to tell me that Pot would not lead to anything stronger.  Today he maybe still be homeless however probably not on this earth.  Such a waste.  Our society gives the help through Methadone.  However I sincerely believe one needs to go cold turkey, your story is proof.

  1. This is a sad story and identical to droves of cocaine addicts progression over years of downward slide.

It is however no reflection on the smoking of pot and connecting these dots leaves gaping holes in reality and logic. I would suspect that if he is like most coke folks I know he started drinking and continues to drink with the coke. Interesting how the alcohol connection [which is a direct connect] escapes the writers scorn and guilt of society.

  2. PS Methadone is used for heroin and has no value or application for cocaine addiction.

I understand your suffering but due to ignorance you’re misguided in your contention.
