PA’s 1st-quarter revenues miss expectations

That first-quarter total is $215 million, or 3.5 percent, below what Gov. Tom Corbett’s administration projected was needed at this point in the budget cycle to support the state’s $27.15 billion spending plan.

But even though collections didn’t meet expectations, the state took in $34 million more than it did in the first quarter of last year…   (more)
