PA jobless rate falls again, to 7.6 percent.

CAPITAL WIRE / AP: Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate fell in January to 7.6 percent, down from 7.7 percent in December, although payrolls shrank slightly.

After a recent revision to the state’s month-over-month rates, it’s the fifth straight monthly drop in the closely followed economic indicator.

The national unemployment rate was 8.3 percent in January.
