Pa. governor ‘disappointed’ in Penn State officials

USA TODAY:  Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett is gratified to see the sexual abuse case against former Penn State assistant Jerry Sandusky come this far.

He should know. He launched the investigation in 2009 when he was the state’s Attorney General.

“We need to protect children,” Corbett said at a news conference Thursday afternoon.”We need to act. I’ve seen many instances where people have power and assume they are above the law.” … (more)
