Pa. casino revenue up a bit, thanks to table games

PHILLY.COM / AP: Gambling revenue at the state’s casinos in October was up slightly over the same month last year, with most of the increase coming from play at table games, according to figures released Monday by gambling regulators.

Revenue from table games grew nearly 10 percent in October, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said. Not including the state’s newest casino, Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin, revenue from table games grew 9 percent at the 10 casinos that were open a year ago.

Overall, gambling revenue rose from $243.7 million to $249.5 million in October, a 2 percent increase. Not counting Lady Luck, revenue rose 1 percent… (more)
