We sent the following memo to the “Contact Us” URL of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Department:

I recently encountered a vehicle with the above PA license in Lancaster County.
I suggest it is inappropriate and should not be renewed and, even better, should be recalled.
Whatever the intention (and that is hardly in question), it implies bigotry.
