Onorato brands himself the ‘reform’ candidate

Calling himself the “Harrisburg outsider,” Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato claims he would be better than Republican opponent Tom Corbett at shaping up the state Legislature.

Mr. Onorato, the chief executive of Allegheny County since 2004, came to the state Capitol on Tuesday to tout his credentials for “state government reform” and to criticize Mr. Corbett for not supporting changes Mr. Onorato likes, such as reducing the size of the Legislature and limiting lawmakers to a certain number of terms in office…
