The number of Americans who say they are getting health coverage through an employer dropped to its lowest point in November since January 2008, according to a Gallup-Healthways Well Being survey. Gallup began tracking the figures in 2008.
Just under 45 percent got coverage through their place of work compared to 50 percent in January, 2008.
One modest offset is that the percentage of those who have coverage through the government — Medicare, Medicaid or military and veteran’s benefits — has risen from 22.5 percent in 2008 to 26 percent last month…
