NewsLanc joins LNP with egg on its face

A month ago we omnisciently predicted that Marco Rubio would b e the Republican presidential candidate.

Perhaps this will  be true in some future year, but not in 2016.  After his abysmal showing in the last few primaries, his prospects look bleak at  best.

We will stick our neck out again by predicting that Donald Trump will soon take a ‘left’ turn to the center in positioning himself for the general election.  For Trump it should not be difficult, because he historically, and still on some important matters, has often been left of center.

  1. One of the most glaring mistakes that Rubio made was to lower himself to Trump’s level. He initially had my interest and support, but really lost a lot of credibility once he started down the denigrating road. Of course, Carson and Kasich both maintained a higher level of decorum, and it got them nothing.

A very sad and troubling state of affairs that the voters will have no real ‘presidential’ candidates from either party to choose from. We may very well be facing an all-time low in voter turnout this fall. Both parties are to blame for not presenting more viable candidates to debate, and choose from.
