“Obama declares ‘security at stake’” begins “President Barack Obama announced Tuesday that he would speed 30,000 additional troops to  Afghanistan in coming months, but he vowed to start bringing U. S. forces home in the middle of 2011…”

WATCHDOG: Within minutes of the end of the speech, a knowledgeable British foreign correspondent on CNN , utilizing a topographical map and indicating al-Quida and hostile Talibin occupation both in Afghanistan and Pakistan, decimated almost all of the President’s contentions that the additional American troops plus newly trained Afghanistan government forces would be able to bring about a long term improvement.

The best hope is that Congress provides ample money to buy off the tribal war lords who don’t want al-Quida any more than they want us.
