An editorial “Thornburgh’s call to abolish agency” states “Thornburgh, who served as governor from 1979 to 1987, has written an op-ed piece calling for abolition of the turnpike commission, characterizing it as a ‘dumping ground’ for graft and corruption.”

WATCHDOG: A wag of the tail for the editorial, but they might have further identified Thornburgh as a former Attorney General of the United States from 1988 to 1991.
