Columnist Dan Thomasson article headed “Nobel panel had ulterior motives” states “The Republicans – with the noticed exception of his presidential opponent, Sen. John McCain – led by conservative bloggers and blabbers generally booed it long and loudly while their liberal counterparts among the Democrats heralded it as fitting tribute to a new order.”

WATCHDOG: Many liberals and moderates expressed surprise and suggested that the award was, at best, premature.

As for the Nobel panel, they represent the intense relief in Europe and throughout the world that the USA is no longer led by George W. Bush, and anticipation of a wiser, more collegial and successful approach to foreign policy by the current administration.

Time will tell! We think they should have waited.
