First and foremost, the claims made by former commissioner Henderson are legit enough for this suit to be continued. That does not mean that Morris did anything wrong; however, he certainly came close enough to the line that she has every right to bring suit and a judge in the State of PA believes that it is worth hearing.
Art Morris is a big boy and must take responsibility for his actions/statements. He is not some “average Joe” as Gib [Armstrong] would like to portray him but rather a former elected official, a featured columnist in the local monopoly print media, and a recent chair of a public authority. He knows what is right and what is wrong.
He chose to say what he said. While he may have had the best interest of the former county home in his heart, I do not believe that controversy would begin to reach the level that it did had Dick and Molly not been offering very legitimate resistance to the unholy CC deal between Lancaster County and Mr. Morris’ former employer.
If Art is really the victim here, can I suggest he counter sue Molly Henderson and recoup his costs.
