MIAMI HERALD / SUNDAY NEWS

In “Harry Reid had it right”, columnist Leonard Pitts states “To believe Reid did something wrong in talking about that is to buy the silly contention that talking about race is, of itself, racist…No, Reid’s sin was to be blunt, indecorous, impolitic.  And right.”

WATCHDOG: “Talking about that” refers to Senator Reid’s mentioning in his book “Game Change” that President Barrack Obama is “light skinned” and has “no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” The Watchdog defended Reid’s statements, but it is more ‘politically correct’ when it comes from African-American Leonard Pitts.   A wag of the tail!
