Question, why was Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan not severely reprimanded when he made the following statement at the Grand Jury Presentment news conference along with the Interim Attorney General? Commissioner Noonan’s stated “Joe Paterno should have done more” (or words to that effect).
I am sure that any previous PSP Commissioner who made himself out as judge, jury and executioner would be roasted by the media and not granted sainthood, but he was taking down one of the best known & respected Pennsylvanians. The media jumped on his condemnation of Joe Paterno and unfortunately the rest is history.
