Marines asked to disarm before Panetta speech

MSNBC:  In an incident that underlined just how high tensions were running during Leon Panetta’s trip to Afghanistan on Wednesday, around 200 Marines were asked to leave their weapons outside the tent where the U.S. Defense Secretary was set to speak, reporters there said.

“All I know is I was told to get the weapons out,” Sergeant Major Brandon Hall told The New York Times. Asked why, he replied, “Somebody got itchy, that’s all I’ve got to say. Somebody got itchy; we just adjust.”

Panetta’s visit comes after Sunday’s shooting that left 16 Afghan civilians dead, including nine children. Some of the bodies were reportedly burned. The suspect, who hasn’t been named, is in U.S. custody…  (more)

KZ:   The government seems to be so afraid of its own soldiers that they required Marines to disarm before Secretary of Defense Panetta spoke.  Pretty interesting.  The elites are more afraid than we know.

EDITOR:  The soldiers know that our government has continuously covered up  the dire straits of the missions.  After multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, facing death continuously, they are rattled.

All the more reason to take their guns away and get them the hell out of there.

Yesterday we learned that our President, like the one before him, wants to be “a war president” especially in an election year. So he, and we, will “carry on with the mission”.

That mission is to remain there until we are assurred that the afghans can protect themselves from themselves, and that they will give us permanent bases to protect ourselves from the Iranians and thus insure a free flow of oil without which we would be reduced to poverty and destruction along with Israel and all of Western civililization. Hmmm?

Maybe we should stay. They tell me it’s really dangerous outside this sanitarium. Better to just find a safe place and be quiet.
