Like his adviser, Gov. Corbett’s higher-ed policy is AWOL

HARRISBURG PATRIOT-NEWS Op Ed: …And the average Pennsylvanian with a bachelor’s degree earns almost $20,000 more each year than a worker who only finished high school.

So why is Gov. Corbett making it harder for Pennsylvanians to earn a college degree and the ticket to economic opportunity that comes with it?

EDITOR: From where is the money to come? A good start would be to start taxing the Marcellus Shale extraction as do other states although the industry is a major contributor to the governor’s election campaigns.
