I’m a retired tax accountant, and maybe I can help you with your search for the 2008 LGH tax return (Form 990). My information might be a little rusty, but I think I can help. The 2008 “tax” return for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, would have been due November 15, 2009. It could have been extended up to six months, giving a new due date of May 15, 2010, which has not as yet arrived. Therefore, it is possible that the return you requested from them has not as yet been filed.
Editor: When a NewsLanc reporter called on John Lines, Director of Communications of LGH, last Thursday, Lines stated that the tax return for the year ending June 30, 2009 would become available by mid-May, as required by law. We will be on the watch for it.
