Taking a walk through the neighborhood this morning, the Watchdog observed two vehicles and six members of the Lancaster City water company ever so leisurely performing the cleanup work that could have readily be handled in half an hour by a laborer with a pick up truck.
This is not an isolated condition with the water company. As a veteran builder, the Watchdog marvels at how so much expensive equipment and many people are used today to perform tasks done much quicker, with little if any equipment, by one or two construction workers in the past.
Do any workers sweat these days from exertion?
