Editor Marv Adams likes to end his columns with a tidbit concerning the ongoing battle of wits between daughter Abigail (now sixteen) and her parents. Usually they come off on the losing end.
However, he reports the following this week: “Daughter Abigail asked:
‘Why couldn’t I have been born into a normal family?’
“I told the 16-year-old:
‘No normal family would have you.’ ”
WATCHDOG: As an on going target for snipes from our fourteen year old daughter, we gleefully note “Touché!”
I would be embarrassed to be Marv’s daughter and have to face the potential redicule and badgering she must face at school on Monday mornings.
Marv should ‘cease and desist’ this on-going embarassing commentary.
