“The politics of resentment will intensify as struggling middle class presses its assault on the poor. But you know what? Making sure the “lazy” poor aren’t taking drugs, or buying lottery tickets with welfare money isn’t going to save the middle class.
“It will, however, permit the real beneficiaries of this war on the poor to continue laughing all the way to the bank.”
