Right now the people who are behind [the convention center] project don’t need us to make a fool of them; they are doing a pretty good job of making a fool of themselves.
Note that I do NOT include the LCCCA board in this comment. As I said two years ago, now that the bonds are sold the LCCCA board is for all intents and purposes powerless. MOST of the current LCCCA board members are people who really do want to do a good job for the taxpayers of Lancaster City and County.
So far, besides [the recent] editorial, I’ve seen at least two newspaper articles which have been critical of High … This is nothing more than purely speculation on my part, but I would not be surprised if Lancaster Newspapers starts to distance themselves from High, as these articles suggest they might be trying to do.
