LANCASTER NEW ERA

Editorial “PSU’s attempt at openness” states:

“There was a time when having Penn State make such information public was more difficult than prying open a box that as nailed shut.”

WATCHDOG: How come the editors criticize Penn State while neglecting to even cover the annual meeting of the opaque Lancaster General Health board, let alone noting that LGH this past year did not even allow public comment?   We know.  They all belong to the same downtown club so it would be ungentlemanly.

This is a carry over of the Convention Center mentality.

  1. So long as Penn Square Partners and the others accept taxpayer funds, they should make public what publicly funded institutions make public – nothing more , nothing less.
