Lancaster County Planning Commission hosting “Curbside Chat”

PRESS RELEASE:

County Planners to Host Strongtowns “Curbside Chat”

Lancaster, PA, 2 January 2013

The Lancaster County Planning Commission is hosting a “Curbside Chat” with Charles Marohn of Strongtowns on January 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Manheim Township Public Library, 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster.

The “Curbside Chat” is a discussion of new strategies for the economic realities facing America’s towns. This program will be an insightful dialogue for local officials, community leaders, and citizens on finding a path to community financial self sufficiency.

The team at Strongtowns is traveling across America to deliver this talk to communities that are looking for answers to unstable property values and uncertain revenue streams. Local leaders are looking for answers and what they are discovering is that they are largely on their own. Strongtowns is bringing a message of what local leaders can do to position their communities for success in the new economy.

Please RSVP to Donna Hahn at (717) 299-8333 or [email protected]. Visit www.CurbsideChat.org or www.StrongTowns.org or call Strongtowns at 1-888-454-5226 for more information.
