John Burkhoff, a professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, agrees Ms. Kane’s ability to run the office has been compromised, but thinks it’s premature for such a drastic action.

EDITOR: In an editorial, the Times-Tribune called for Kane’s resignation. Considering Kane is from the Scranton area, this is the cruelest cut of all.
