Judge Simpson is expected to rule soon. Ideally, he will dismiss the law and save the commonwealth the embarrassment it promises. But, even if he doesn’t do so, the Corbett administration and state lawmakers should decide that protecting the right to vote is more important than vote suppression in support of Mr. Romney.
