The U.S. economy is fragile, the military is spread thin and we are losing respect around the world.
There was finally some inkling of discussion about cutting the wasteful and bloated U.S. weapons and war budget, but now an arms race with China begins. Could China be pulling the U.S. into further collapse of the economy by getting the U.S. to escalate military spending? The reaction of the U.S. to the Chinese stealth fighter plane and new missile systems that could target the U.S. Navy in the China Sea is predictable. They knew the U.S. would compete, is it Reagan in reverse?
