WATCHDOG:  What history book has Sen. Toomey been reading?   His prescription for prosperity is to repeat all of the 1920s follies that brought on the Great Depression (and more recently the Great Recession) and to jettison the wise regulations and counter recession policies that resulted in prosperity from the 1940s  through the end of the twentieth century, at which time the federal deficit was rapidly being reduced.
