In what was apparently is meant to be a tribute to John W. W. Loose, “County loses its historian”, the article quotes Loose as saying “Whatever people did, it was meat for my mill.”
WATCHDOG: We question that Loose actually said “meat” rather than “grist”, but if he did it seems a strange quote to be chosen as representative of so erudite and prolific a writer.
I hope you’re not suggesting that LNP would actually misquote someone , are you?????
