“School District of Lancaster views lease of land for fire station” reports: “After two years of private negotiations and public discussions, School District of Lancaster is about to decide whether to lease land to Lancaster Township for a new fire station.
“If the school board’s vote in May endorsing the station proposal is any indication, the township is likely to finally get the land.”
WATCHDOG: A wag of the tail for the SD of L if they approve the lease. The owners of the adjoining Manor House Apartments have agreed to provide one way access to the rear of the fire house through a private drive without charge.
