INTELLIGENCER NEW ERA

In a letter “Rendell wrong about nonprofit change”, the president of  the Hospital & Health System Assoc . of Pennsylvania  claims:  “Taxing nonprofit hospitals to fill budget gaps will not solve municipalities’ financial problems, but it will harm the entities that provide healing, health and hope to millions of Pennsylvanians.”

WATCHDOG: Poor Lancaster General Health, only earning $113 million in 2007 / 2008.  Furthermore, doesn’t for profit and thus taxable Lancaster Regional also provide “healing, health and hope?”
