WATCHDOG: Standardized graduation exams in order to graduate strikes us as punishing students for the schools promoting them year after year. We fear it would generate drop-outs rather than improve academic standards.

Better to provide different tracts according to interests and abilities, and perhaps offer a general degree for poor performers and a full degree for those scoring above a certain level academically over the years.
