A letter to the editor headed “LGH ignores those in county’s southern end” opens “It is interesting that Lancaster General Health is making plans for further expansion in the northern part of Lancaster County. What it really means is they have too much money from exorbitant fees they charge for their services to maintain their non-profit status if they don’t spend it.”
WATCHDOG: A wag of the tail. This is further indication of the need for a public voice in the management of LGH. There are ample ways that LGH, chartered as a ‘Public Charity’, can better utilize its profits in the interests of public health and education.
