The first quote appeared in the article “Cyclist swerves to avoid deer, crashes in Leacock Twp.”

“He swerved to miss the deer and lost control,” Diener said of the driver. “I don’t think that he hit it.”

The second quote is the caption under a photograph taken at the scene:

“A mortorcylist was reported to be hospitalized after hitting a deer…”

WATCHDOG: So which was it? And was the cyclist wearing a helmet?  And how is the deer faring?
