Editorial “Black homerooms” explains:  “A new program in which some juniors at McCaskey East High School are paired with homeroom mentors based on race and gender is drawing critiques from across the country… We believe it is a program worth exploring.. Homeroom is a six-minute period during which attendance is taken and school announcements are made.”…

WATCHDOG: A wag of the tail!  The program deals with today’s big problem, not that of the past.   Maybe we should also consider assigning J. P. McCaskey to boys and McCaskey East to girls!
