WATCHDOG: Our congratulations to the county champions and best wishes in the regional play offs.
However, we hope similar coverage will be given to the winner of the Mock Trial county finals this evening between Lancaster Catholic and J. P. McCaskey high schools.
Last year McCaskey not only won the county and the regionals, but they came in second in the statewide tournament, having split the jury’s decision and losing on points.
The remarkable achievement received scant notice by the newspapers.
We wonder why quiz bowl coverage but not mock trial.
We hope to learn from tomorrows newspaper who won. Perhaps there might even be a photo.
