Capitolwire reports: “The House voted 103-89 late Wednesday afternoon to adopt a gambling reform and table games legalization bill.
“Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board officials said the table games process, starting Wednesday, could take six to nine months before cards are dealt or dice are thrown.
“It will impose a 16 percent tax on table games, with 14 percentage points going to the state and 2 percentage points for local projects or governments or groups. That tax will fall to 14 percent overall with the same local share two years after the initial operation of table games.”
