The Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. is raising the monthly home subscription rate effective January from $19.50 to $20.59, which comes to 5.5%.
A letter of notification explains: “While we have maintained our current home delivery rates since 2001, we find that due to the increased costs of paper, ink and transportation, we are no longer able to do so.”
