Government hand washing re Fathers’ rights

(Response to “Fathers’ rights activist questions Human Relations Commission)

This is the epitome of one hand washing the other in the government sector.  The classic we can’t solve world hunger so why bother even trying—what if the US took that position toward Haiti after today’s earthquake? Hey guys, we can’t solve every problem you have, so we are just not going to do anything because… that would be an effort in futility.

I live 1800 miles away in the Rocky Mountains, but I know Ben’s story—it is my own.  It is systematic for the government to ignore the male gender—we have been declared as of marginal value at best, not worth any support (other than things that keep us as wage earners and tax payers). You need to keep covering this issue as it is discrimination at the most fundamental level and also the most extreme level possible.

It just makes me sick to read about such behavior—forget he is a male/father/ex-husband, and just consider that he is an American Citizen and DESERVES all the support any other citizen would ever get. At the end of any day that is all he is asking for.  That commission should be shut down because they are practicing the very behavior they claim they are trying to get rid of or reduce.
